Job Description & Summary

The PwC Global Mobility (GM) function looks after the International Mobility Program for our staff including Short-Term and Long-Term Assignments, and Permanent Transfers within the global Network of PwC firms. GM is part of Human Capital (HC).

This role will be based in Dubai with geographical responsibility for the Middle East Region which consists of 12 countries.

Our Internal Global Mobility team provides support for PwC's international assignment programmes. As part of our team, you'll help with all human resource related aspects of international assignments including tax, immigration, mobility consulting, and expatriate compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

- Set up ME GM strategy in alignment with the business and HC strategy, as well as with the GM strategy of the global PwC Network.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in creating and driving the operational effectiveness to support the overall GM Strategy
- Lead and coach a team that collaborates intensively and adds value to our internal clients
- Extensive knowledge of the differences in our territories, regions, lines of service, sectors and business units to successfully support the worldwide GM metrics and strategy.
- Intimate understanding of International and domestic employee benefits and compensation, immigration regulations, international assignment policy development and practice
- Manage priority GM projects. Cooperate with other GMLs and the Network Mobility Center of Excellence on strategic Network initiatives.
- Developing and implementing process improvements and business solutions to increase the efficiency of the GM program administration.
- Developing, implementing and overseeing compliance and controls for GM programs and processes
- Leading development of communications, documentation, and education efforts to support GM strategy and drive process standardization and consistency.
- Interacting effectively with Partners and business unit leaders.
- Having tactical responsibility for programs, leading coaching and work delivery; and actively contributing to a leadership team and external service providers and vendors.

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of working experience in global mobility, expatriate management, ideally in various cross-border areas such as immigration, international tax, social security, relocation and HR
- Experience with managing and coaching people
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, especially across various cultures
- Experience working cross-culture and with diverse colleagues
- Strong drive and time management, ability to decide and prioritize independently
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify areas for improvement and come up with solutions
- Ability to look at things from a broad and strategic perspective
