Roles Summary

- The role required a dynamic IT professional with extensive experience in leading the development, implementation, and application of strategies necessary to support the business intelligence, analytics, and data requirements of PwC.
- This role develops, maintains, and communicates the data and analytics vision, strategy, and roadmap, revising on to stay in line with the firm strategic planning.
- The Data Analytics Manager sponsors strategic data & analytics projects and solutions implementation to ensure staying at the forefront of technological and analytic advancements.

Responsibilities:
- Advising, developing and implementing strategies, roadmap and budget for the use of business intelligence, analytics, and dashboard metrics.
- Partners with PwC regional technology team and business leadership on the identification selection, and configuration of products and tools to support the analytics needs.
- Identify the data and analytic business requirements supporting effective decision making.
- Works across teams to ensure the delivery of related projects and the alignment with the firm goals and strategies.
- Lead in data analysis, design and development of reports, data visualizations and other outputs using the firm tools.
- Oversees the development and implementation of a training strategy for analytics, business intelligence, and reporting.
- Identify and respond to the related projects changes, issues and risks, and resolve / escalate them as necessary.
- Reporting as necessary for business and technology leads on projects / solutions implementation progress.
- Response and escalate function related incidents as required
- Contribute in developing of function processes and ensure of implementation of related processes and standards.
- Support function SLA's management.

Requirements

Requirements:

- The candidate will be achievement oriented with the ability to be flexible and adaptive on a daily basis, with ability to work independently and as part of a team with a fast pace and a high energy that will translate into a high quality output.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant subject areas such as computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, Master's degree preferred.
- Experience working with data analytics platforms to build reports, such as Tableau, Cognos, Power BI
- Proven experience in data mining principles, predictive analytics, mapping collecting data from multiple data systems including cloud based sources. Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, designing models, and developing actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to review business processes and translate into BI reporting and analysis solutions.
- Strong experience as a Data or Business Analysis
- Hands on experience across the field of data - data models, business intelligence, data mining, reports, databases etc.
- Experience with big data: processing, filtering, and presenting large quantities (100K to Millions of rows) of data.
- Strong experience with statistical analysis
- Experience of software development environments - ideally Agile, JIRA and Waterfall.
- Ideally have experience with SQL
- Leveraging computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval;
- Experience in communicating technically, at a level appropriate for the audience Demonstrated
leadership and self-direction. Demonstrated willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.
- Utilizing organization and prioritization skills with ability to multitask and switch focus as necessary to
meet deadlines and/or with change in priorities.
- Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
- Object-oriented/object function scripting languages Python, R, C/C++/C#, Ruby, Java, Scala etc.
- Experience in agile development processes;
- Relational SQL, distributed SQL and NoSQL databases;
- Experience in Big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Map-reduce, Hive...etc.
- Data integration tools (e.g. Talend, SnapLogic, Informatica) and data warehousing / data lake tools;
- Data pipeline and workflow management;
- Business Intelligence Tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
- Cloud technologies such as SaaS, IaaS and PaaS within Azure or Google;
- Data mapping, data flows and governance processes around data management;
- Knowledge in (Project Management methodologies).
- Excellent organisational skills, having the ability to prioritise workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proven IT skills in the following programmes (Microsoft Office, G Suite)
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English but multilingual Arabic speaker an advantage.
- The ability and willingness to re-locate within the Middle East where the role dictates.
- Years of Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in utilizing, implementing, configuring and supporting of related tools and solutions with direct interaction with business users / IT Management, preferably within a professional services environment.
