Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of all ILS elements during system design, production and deployment of the MATV vehicle & systems.
His tasks starts from beginning of the contract and will last during the Full Life Cycle of the MATV vehicle systems.
The ILS Manager will serve as the focal point for all matters regarding Integrated Logistics Support towards the customer as well as within the project to other project functions and subcontractors. He will work in closely with the sourcing and system design / engineering departments as well as with the Project Management.

• Initiate the MATV ILS project by defining the ILS System Requirements in accordance to the contracted support concept, develop and execute the ILS plan to achieve the desired MATV fleet availability and combat readiness.
• Plan Facilities establishment & the setting up in detail, to ensure that the resources, timeframe and budget required are properly defined:
- Facilities planning towards ensuring that all required permanent or semi-permanent operating and support facilities (for instance, training, field and depot maintenance, storage, operational, and testing) are available concurrently with system fielding.
- Planning must be comprehensive and include the need for new construction as well as modifications to existing facilities. It also includes studies to define and establish impacts on life cycle cost, funding requirements, facility locations and improvements, space requirements, environmental impacts, duration or frequency of use, safety and health standards requirements, and security restrictions.
- Including any utility requirements, for both fixed and mobile facilities, with emphasis on limiting requirements of unique resources.

The ILS Manager performs the ILS project management for whole project and he is responsible for the ILS matters included all activities in the work packages for:
• Input and consideration in the design interfaces which includes defining the following:
- Reliability requirements.
- Maintainability requirements.
- Standardization requirements.
- Interoperability requirements.
- Safety requirements.
- Security requirements.
- Usability requirements.
- Environmental and HAZMAT requirements.
- Privacy requirements, particularly for computer systems.
- Legal requirements

• Planning, Scheduling and implantation for all ILS tasks,
• Technical Training & Training Devices.
• Maintenance Planning & In Service Support.
• Co-ordination of all Integrated Logistics Support activities from subcontractors, suppliers, customer and internally as well.
• Interface between the ILS team and other parties involved in the project:
• Evaluation and reporting of ILS performance
• To manage Technical Publication and product ducomentation:
- Technical manuals
- Technical and supply bulletins.
- Transportability guidance technical manuals.
- Maintenance expenditure limits and calibration procedures.
- Repair parts and tools lists.
- Maintenance allocation charts.
- Corrective maintenance instructions
- Preventive maintenance and Predictive Maintenance instructions.
- Drawings/specifications/technical data packages.
- Software documentation.
- Provisioning documentation
- Depot maintenance work requirements.
- Identification lists.
- Component lists.
- Product support data
- Flight safety critical parts lists for aircraft.
- Lifting and tie down pamphlet/references.
- Hazardous Material documentation

• Computer Resources Support
- Computer Resources Support includes the facilities, hardware, software, documentation, manpower, and personnel needed to operate and support computer systems and the software within those systems. Selecting the proper Computer resources & systems.
• Life-Cycle Management Plan (CRLCMP).
• ILS Manager shall ensure that planning actions and strategies contained in the ILSP and CRLCMP are complementary and that computer resources support for the operational software, and Automatic Test Equipment software, support software, is available where and when needed.
• Spare parts & other material supply management
• Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation
• Others

Relationships:

The ILS Manager reports to the Program Manager.

Experience & Skills:

• More than 5 years of relevant experience managing Integrated Logistics Support matters for large complex projects
• Large Projects Management and/or integration,
• Experience with Logistical computer resources.
• Experience in training & training needs analysis.
• Strong understanding of performance and quality assurance management,
• Able to apply the Standards:

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Master in business administration
