Job description / Role
Halian International, a global IT services business, is currently seeking a Information Security Governance Manager, with a comprehensive working knowledge of working within the Information Security industry. Based out of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, this will be a permanent role working for one of the country's most exciting technology focused government entities.
As Information Security Governance Manager, you will be leading the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the entity's Information Security Management System based on the applicable United Arab Emirates information security regulation standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc. You will also lead the effort along with assigned management and staff to develop and implement appropriate information security standards, guidelines and processes to ensure compliance as per the entity Information Security Policies.
You will also manage the efforts across the organization to ensure the implementation of crisis and business continuity management and planning. A key part of your role will also be to participate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of security platforms and technologies. You will also need to have an expert knowledge of Risk Management
Requirements
To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, we are seeking a Information Security Governance Manager must possess the following skills and experience;
Responsible in the design, implementation and operation of the entity's Information Security Management System based on the applicable United Arab Emirates information security standards.
Spearheading the design, implementation and operation of international standards, such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, etc.
Assigning management and staff to develop and implement appropriate information security standards, guidelines and processes to ensure compliance as per the entity Information Security Policies.
In charge in the design and operation of related compliance monitoring and improvement activities and guarantee the compliance both with internal security policies and United Arab Emirates information security laws and regulations.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Information Security and Information Security Management Systems.
Knowledge of methods and procedures to protect information systems.
Knowledge of network security architecture concepts.
Knowledge of methods and tools used for risk assessment and mitigation of risk
