Job description / Role
Infrastructure Design Engineer (Wet Utilities) - Dubai, UAE
- Design Engineer (wet Services)
- Various Land Development projects
- Experienced in designing gravity and pressurized systems, primarily for development schemes.
- He/she is responsible for ensuring that all drawings and calculations meet quality, accuracy and dimension standards. Also, the incumbent performs design engineering tasks using standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
- The incumbent has deep knowledge of his subject areas or disciplines; thorough understanding of design objectives, priorities and strategy for own area; and understands industry practices.
- He/she prioritizes work to meet project deliverables. This position impacts the function/department through responsibility for the delivery of end results.
- Must be able to coordinate with other design disciplines to achieve a team design delivery. (including Structures, roads, dry utilities, Geotech and MEICA)
- Has experience in gaining Client and Authority approvals
- Is capable in carrying out checking reviews of others work.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess a relevant engineering degree and hold or be approaching Chartered (or equivalent) Engineer status (e.g. MICE, MCIWEM)
- In addition, it would be preferable that the candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge;

- Service delivery processes, tools and techniques
- H&S and environmental requirements
- Leadership, team dynamics and enthusiasm
- Continual improvement and value management
- Client relationship
He/she should have experience in some or all of the following software
