Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As a Sales Engineer for Insitu Machining, you will combine technical knowledge with sales skills and developing a new business. The balance depends on the level of technical knowledge and understanding you will need to sell the product you're offering and to respond to customers’ enquiries.

• Set up and manage sales and distribution structures
• Develops new sales strategies and product packages In particular for key accounts and the spare part business
• Implements KPI figures for sales (hit rate, loss analysis, order intake, etc.) and set up monthly reporting
• Defines marketing plan and marketing mix (4Ps: product, promotion, price and place) for the products and countries
• Conducts market analysis, competition benchmarking and customer survey
• Development of the existing business in countries like Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait , UAE, Iraq
• Interacts with internal departments and HQ marketing department to align local work with Metalock Denmark

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years working experience
• Qualified as Mechanical Engineer
• Ability to work with professional confidence and high degree of independence
• Professional appearance and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial and technical orientation with the ability to analyze and promote added value
• Highly motivated with strong deadline orientation and the ability to focus on strategic priorities in a high pressure constantly changing business
• Highly demonstrated ability to work independently
• Fluent in English communication (written and spoken); knowledge of additional foreign languages is beneficial

Additionally, the Insitu Machining Sales Engineer should possess:
• Expertise in new business development
• Experience in qualifying, developing and securing new customer accounts through distribution and / or direct end-user channels
