Job Description
The United Arab Emirates University invites applications for a full-time Instructor in digital media production in the Department of Media and Creative Industries. Applicants for the position should enhance the students with expertise in new media journalism, multimedia production and storytelling. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in news writing and reporting, multimedia production for online and mobile applications. The instructor will also be responsible of the media labs in the department, maintain the equipment and computers with updated software, and content management system for multimedia production as in real newsroom.

Candidate will be also responsible for curriculum development, program coordination, student advising, and other responsibilities generally expected of full-time faculty.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
- MA in Journalism/New Media or related field.
- Teaching or training experience.
- English language proficiency

Preferred Qualification
- 5 year of experience news reporting/editing, and multimedia content creation, production, and publishing for different media outlets.
- Advanced skills in media content production tools and software.
- Bilingual, English/Arabic
