Job Description

The Department of Cognitive Sciences at United Arab Emirates University announces a psychology position at instructor level to begin 1st August 2022. The position will be of interest to those with expertise in the following areas: Introduction to Psychology, Social Psychology, Research Methods and related topics.

The UAEU is located in the city Al Ain (Emirate of Abu Dhabi), on the border with Oman and about 1.5 hours' drive from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi cities.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
Qualified candidates will have a Doctoral degree in psychology, or equivalent, from an APA approved program. Duties involve teaching, advising students, and serving on committees.

Preferred Qualification
We seek a collegial, congenial and talented colleague in the discipline of philosophy.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
Native or near-native competence in English is required.
