Instructor in Agribusiness and Consumer

Job description / Role

An instructor position in the area of Agricultural Extension & Education and/or Agricultural Economics at the Department of Agribusiness and Consumer Sciences starting Fall 2019-20.

Qualified candidates will be considered commensurate with academic accomplishments.

Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate level and actively engage in promoting the growth of the College of Food and Agriculture at UAE University.

The application package should include a cover letter, a detailed resume, a brief description of teaching philosophy, and courses taught. English is the language of instructions and communication in the College of Food and Agriculture. Screening of applications will continue until the position is filled.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
Applicant must have an earned doctorate or masters in agricultural education and extension/agricultural economics/agribusiness or related fields. The ability to teach undergraduate courses in the areas of agricultural education and extension is a must.

Preferred Qualification
Applicant with demonstrated experience in teaching agricultural education and extension as well as with experience in conducting training programs for field extension.
