Job description / Role
Key Function:
Review business and financial system processes and provide value adding recommendations in line with best practice.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Performing financial and operational audit.
• Preparing system notes for businesses processes under review.
• Preparing audit programs and detailed audit work papers incorporating test schedules, observations, and audit conclusions; and ensuring all work papers contain sufficient supporting documentation and have been properly referenced.
• Drafting Internal Audit Reports.
• Compliance with Company Policies and Procedures must be ensured and all transactions reflected in the accounting records are in accordance with the International Accounting Standards.
• Risk analyses to identify areas where the Company is exposing to risk and recommend plans to address these risks.
Requirements
Profile & Skills:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in an internal audit function or risk Management.
• Possess excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal), Arabic is a plus.
• Have effective analytical & presentation skills,
• Very Good knowledge of computerized accounting,
• Proficiency in IFRS and IIA standards is essential,
• ACL & auto audit experience,
• IT audit experience is a plus.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting.
• Certification as a CIA, CPA, or Chartered Accountant
