Inventory Assistant

Job description / Role

Job Objective:
To support the Inventory control & Store management activities of the company

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Store keeper to handle stock and inventory control activates.
• Assist in checking and receiving of goods into stock and placing items onto the shelf/stock location
• Assist in checking and tracking damages and discrepancies on items received.
• Physical withdrawal of stock, retrieving stock from its location, packaging and dispatch for issuing items.
• Assist in arranging delivery and collection of material/ items as per requirement.
• Assist store keeper in preparing purchase requisitions for the inventory.
• Conducting periodical review and physical stock inventories.
• Assist in monitoring and identification of non-moving/surplus and obsolete /damaged materials or items.
• Assist in maintaining all records related to the inventory control & store management.
• Cover the responsibilities of the Store Keeper / Assistant Store keeperduring his absence.
• Any additional tasks assigned by department Head
• Ensure compliance with the company’s policies , rules and procedures related to Health , Safety and Environmental Management.

Requirements

Requisite Qualifications:
• Diploma or Equivalent

Experience Requirement:
• 1 to 2 year experience in a similar position with relevant responsibilities

Skill Sets:
• Communication skills - English/ Arabic
• MS office skills. Team work/ Interpersonal skills
