Job description / Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Inventory Control Executive to work within Al-Futtaim Motors Commercial Vehicles Department based in Dubai. The purpose of the role will be to assist in the implementation and monitoring of procedures to ensure that the correct inventory is in all warehouse locations. The position will assist management in the development and implementation of a formal program to audit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy.
The Inventory Control Executive will assist in carrying out regular Inventory Control functions such as the generation of suggested orders through SAP; the preparation of purchase orders and uploading all orders onto the Principals web portal; the maintenance of the warehouse as per 5S & 7S storage techniques in addition to following kaizen principals in inventory control and warehousing.
The role holder will perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes, and supply possible solutions whilst minimizing overstocks with the efficient management of obsolete / redundant parts.
Requirements
You will ideally be an Undergraduate or hold a High School Certificate and will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within spare parts operations within the Automotive industry.
This role will involve an aspect of reporting and therefore you will have excellent eye for detail with the ability to analyse and therefore identify areas of improvement. You will have the ability to work autonomously and deliver to tight time lines.
