Job description / Role
The candidate will have the chance to work on a variety of projects that directly impact the business including building financial models, forecasting, market research or creating internal tools or databases under the guidance of an Investment Associate.
The key responsibilities associated with this job include:
• Assist with budget and forecasting processes and analysis
• Compile and analyse financial information
• Prepare Excel and PowerPoint reports and presentations
• Prepare and record accounting and financial transactions
• Preparation of Information Memorandums and Financial Models
• Perform Due diligence
• Conduct audit work (review transactions and source documents, analysing internal controls)
• Assist with and support special projects as needed
Requirements
• A qualified graduate in Finance with atleast a year of work experience.
• CFA Level 1 qualified candidates would be preferred.
• Demonstrable classroom or work experience in financial area preferred
• Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be well organized, with the ability to prioritize and multi task several projects at once
• Result-oriented
• Strong analytical, written and interpersonal skills with ability to identify problems and collaborate with others to provide options for resolution
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
