Wood is currently looking for an IT Administrator (UAE National) to join our team in Dubai, UAE
RESPONSIBILITIES<
- End User hardware / software problem resolution and support.
- IT Hardware moves, installation, and changes.
- Workstation / Laptop configuration / reconfiguration.
- Execution of basic network support functions, which may include data backup and recovery, printer / plotter / scanner installation and maintenance.
- To perform office specific IT tasks as per agreements with the local office management (e.g: solution design, architecture diagrams, telephony solutions to support the office needs)
- Building and configuring computers (hardware and software), general maintenance and administrative duties, computer stock inventory and equipment moves.
- Microsoft office suite of products and a variety of specialized engineering and technical applications
- Provide support to local office based users and remote users via telephone and remote access software tools.
- To ensure that IT related activities in an office are executed in accordance with Wood IT policies, procedures, standards and specifications.
- To develop and sustain a strong and active working relationship with the IT Team staff within the office.
- To assist as required in the execution of IT projects within their offices / datacenters.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School or equivalent educational qualifications
- Basic knowledge of IT software and hardware
- Ability to organize and prioritise personal tasks to meet deadlines and service level objectives
- Ability to work alone but also to contribute as part of a wider IT team towards common goals
- Enthusiasm, desire to learn and a team player
