Job description / Role
Key Accountabilities of the position include:
* Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze business process challenges and identify potential technical solutions
* Design, develop, enhance, and maintain in-house applications to meet business requirements
* Analyze, implement, and support commercial off-the-shelf software applications and hosted software services * Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and industry best practices
* Plan development activities and adhere to timing estimations for completion
* Perform other duties as requested by the line manager

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
* At least 5 years programming/development in .NET 3.0/4.0 or higher, VB.NET, C#, Entity Framework, HTML5, Javascript and jQuery
* Experience in Visual Studio 2008/2012 or higher and Configuration Management tools such as TFS, Subversion or GitHub
* Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012, and the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, particularly SSIS, preferably SSAS and SSRS
* Experience working closely with business users in one or more of these business domains: Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics, Sales, Retail
* Experience with BI reporting tools, preferably Tableau
