Job description / Role
We are a seeking professional and credible Business Analyst work closely and effectively with the business units across the Chalhoub Group to understand their reporting needs with the objective to deliver the appropriate BI solutions and tools.
This individual will also:
- Have strong analytical, collaborative, communication (written and verbal) & presentation skills with the ability to interact at all levels
- Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities across internal functional areas in different situations
- Open to cultural diversity, flexible and provide objective solutions to business needs
Experience in Distribution and Retail of the Luxury Segment is a plus.
Main Responsibilities
- Enhancements of the existing CORE business intelligence solution
- Meet with the business stakeholders to identify and scope business opportunities
- Analyse the business requirements and design reporting solutions including reports, dashboards and other forms of analysis (OBIEE)
- Prepare and execute the functional testing activities (test plans, scenarios and tests results)
- Ensure understanding and user acceptance of the reporting solution including user autonomy for future analysis and reporting (User solution adoption)
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with Change Management and Support teams on new functionalities
- Prepare the communications of the reporting solution to be sent across the Chalhoub Group entities
- Provide functional expertise and production support for the reporting solution whenever required and ensure business as usual operations
- Maintain and update all the functional documentation of the reporting solution (Functional specifications, KPIs dictionary, Training materials…)
- Audit and refresh of the existing Analytical Catalogue of Reports and ensure alignment with the business expectations
- Propose initiatives and continuous enhancements to increase the BI adoption and usage of the business users
- Design and implementation of new BI solutions and tools
- Develop technology awareness on BI tools / Analytics (technology events, best practices review, use cases and benchmarks, etc.…)
- Participate in meetings with BI specialist vendors and partners (Qlik, Tableau Software, Microsoft, SAS, Microstrategy…)
- Participate in workshops with the business stakeholders to define a strategy and a 3-year BI roadmap
- Demonstrate agility in delivering quick-wins solutions with added value to the business stakeholders
- Design and roll-out different proof of concepts (POCs) on specialized / niche BI tools (BI Mobile, Self-Service BI…)
Requirements
- MSc or University Degree in computer applications
- 5 years in consulting or systems integration companies
- Linguistic Skills: English, Arabic French
