Job description / Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Business Analyst - Financial Systems, with a global media organization based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role requires you to have a strong grasp of both accounting principles and an aptitude for financial system applications.
* Managing daily system administration, conducting diagnostic checks, resolving help desk issues, providing basic trouble shooting and managing the system's reporting process
* Overseeing and managing the financial accounting system
* Responsible for improving finance systems, developing documentation and utilizing reporting and query tools to ensure process accuracy
* Training staff in financial systems and reporting processes for the organisation
* You will also be supporting the finance teams in their offices across the Middle East, Europe and South East Asia
Requirements
* Must have a BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology (or a combination of both)
* 4+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
* Should have exposure to financial information systems and various accounting functions
* Knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft SQL would be ideal
