IT Network Analyst

Job description / Role

We at Al Tayer Group are looking for an IT Network Analyst as a part of the IT team to implement, develop, enhance and maintain the Convergent Network System, to resolve the problems encountered by the users in order to ensure that the end user system is always operational and fully meets the business requirements of the company.

Functional Responsibilities
* Plan, implement and maintain the convergent networking infrastructure and network infrastructure monitoring solutions.
* Continually assess the network and voice infrastructure capacities to ensure their effectiveness, user friendliness, dependability and the ability to meet company's requirements and introduce improvement plan compatible with the company's long term objective.
* Ensure connectivity for all ATG offices as per the customers' requirements, monitor the existing network system for bottle necks/problems and implement solutions to resolve them.
* Provide critical inputs/suggestions for improvement of existing standards and service levels to assist the Infrastructure Manager to draw up a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
* Ensure appropriate and regular updating of the inventory and maintenance schedule upon completion of the installation.
* Ensure up-to-date inventory is maintained for all IT Communication devices and make sure that the devices are added to the monitoring system for regular monitoring.
* Ensure all the Data Communication links related billings are checked thoroughly and information passed to respective Accounts in time.
* Ensure compliance to existing change management procedure, ensure updated CMDB. Recommend improvement in procedures as needed.
* Establish and manage capacity management procedures to ensure optimum availability of networking resources for projected growth in the medium term
* Ensure end users support as per the SLA.
* Verify the final invoices from vendors with respective to the hardware/services delivered

Requirements

The IT Network Analyst would be a graduate in IT with tertiary qualifications in IT Networking (CCNP Certified is an advantage), atleast 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT Networking and Support in a mid to large size organization. You would have experience in managing core network technologies , wireless technologies,  troubleshooting and IP Telephony.

You would have excellent interpersonal, technical skills and attention to detail.
