Job description / Role
Job Purpose:
• IT Operations Manager will have an overall responsibility for all IT Systems and Datacenter, Software/ Hardware, Finance Application Management, and End User Experience.
• He/she will be responsible to maintain the operational integrity of the technologies and the applications provided.
Job Responsibilities:
• Guarantee the Technical support for all IT Systems implemented in the Head Office.
• Coordinate with the IT in stores for all the new IT project implementation when needed.
• Maintain IT Standard Management in the Head Office and carry out Audit on regular basis.
• Support the IT operation during new store opening when needed.
• Ensure stability of the systems and communications to avoid any down time.
• Develop and maintain IT documentation including all necessary technical training modules for all systems.
• Assist and support IT managers in Head Office and deliver Know-how and best practice.
• Manage and enhance the end user experience (Technology related).
• Design, Test and implement new services to expand the availability, security of the related field.
• To foster partnership link with Vendors/ partners.
• Ensure stability of the systems and communications to avoid any down time in operations.
• Guarantee minimum delay in all recovery procedures in order to minimize the impact on operation.
• Propose and implement action plans in order to increase productivity, performance and effectiveness of the operation.
• Develop a quality assurance for all IT Systems and ensure that a clear service level agreements.
Requirements
Skill Set (job specific technical skills and behavioral competencies needed):
• Solid IT and Technology experience.
• Good analytical skills.
• Up to date with the latest technology trends.
• Retail Awareness (well understanding of the Operation / Business Processes)
• General management experience is essential.
• Hands-on Experience in Microsoft Products including: Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft ADDS, NPS, Deployment Services (WDS).
• Hands-on experience in Managed File Transfer protocols and products.
• Hands-on experience in Data Backup solutions.
• Solid Experience in IT Security Policies.
• Experience in Retail-related IT operations and Systems.
• Experience in Data Center Design and Operations.
• Ability to propose and implement new initiatives to enhance IT and business services.
• Knowledge in IT related End User Experience solutions and services (Self-Service Portals, Standard Deployments Images, latest hardware and software for end users).
• Manage IT related contracts with suppliers and vendors.
• Basic/ intermediate knowledge in Open source platforms (Linux).
• Hands-on experience in private and public cloud services.
• Hands-on experience in virtualizations and container-based solutions (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Basic knowledge in SQL, Oracle, MySQL database services.
• Knowledge in Service Desk operations and products.
• ITIL / PMP / TOGAF/ Agile Project Management certificates are plus.
Minimum Experience:
• 7 to 10 years in IT Department (min. 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role).
Minimum Qualifications/Education:
• Bachelor Degree in IT is standard, a Master’s degree is a plus.
