Job description / Role
On behalf of an award winning and well-funded tech start-up company, iTalent is looking for a senior technical IT guru to support the on-site operation. The individual is an IT generalist that excels at problem solving and figuring out easy solutions to complex problems. He/she will be responsible for defining new IT services, defining training requirements per category, designing technical solutions to business customers and acting as 2nd tear support for on-site resources.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
• Define the technical process for each IT service, this includes email support, network support, hardware support, software support and more technical cloud solutions.
• Presales support the sales team by understanding the customer’s requirements and designing the right IT solutions in the proposal phase.
• Work closely with the Head of Operations to define the training requirements per IT service.
• Train and validate on-site resources before the on-boarding process
• Act as the second tier support to on-site technicians whenever they face an issue while carrying out their service.
• Work on defining new service opportunities and software/tools that can be utilized for customers.
• Research and find the tools and solutions to improve the operation and service fulfillment.
Requirements
• 5+ years’ Technical IT support
• Problem Solving Skills
• IT Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
• High energy, charismatic, innovative, creative
• Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about IT in general. Loves to research and find new technologies and new solutions.
• Strong track record of solving complicated IT issues and training others to do the same in future occurrences.
