IT Supervisor

Job description / Role

We are seeking a proficient and experienced IT Supervisor to oversee the technical operations and support services of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, and providing effective solutions to meet the needs of our staff and guests.

Job Responsibilities:

- Supervise the IT department and provide leadership, guidance, and support to IT staff.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and security.
- Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to assess IT needs and provide solutions to improve workflow and productivity.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement measures to protect against cybersecurity threats.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for data privacy and security.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on IT systems and applications.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, and warranties.
- Prepare reports and presentations on IT performance and projects for management review.

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- 3 years of experience in IT management or a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Experience with IT infrastructure planning, deployment, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English languages.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
