Employment: Full Time

Our client an IT Consultancy is looking to expand its financial arm and looking to hire several helpdesk personals to establish and manage an efficient and effective IT Help Desk/Service Desk function and personally handle and support Executive Management and senior users on their IT related issues and requirements.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for assuring users are provided efficient and timely first and second level support on a 7x24 basis and manages the help desk staff to ensure Help Desk coverage during normal business hours and on-call support as required
- Monitors, maintains and enhances ITIL Incident and Problem Management Processes effectively enabling Help Desk staff and support technicians to recover outages with minimal disruption isolating problem trends until permanent solutions are found
- Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly statistics, status reports, and graphical reporting aids are completed and continually modified and analysed to meet the needs of the department
- Ensures that decisions made to improve the overall customer support of the Help Desk are continually carried through and contribute to departmental productivity and development objectives by participating in training programs
- Manages the Data Center, Physical and Environmental controls and HVAC systems making sure they meet the companies Service Level Agreements for Technology Services
- Manages and administers all Linus, LAN and WAN servers and demonstrates management and decision making skills concerning Information Systems policies, processes and procedures, with a proved track record of completing tasks and/or project within budget and on schedule
- Ability to manage multiple high priority initiatives in a fast paced highly technical environment

Requirements

- BSc. IT Engineering or similar
- Microsoft, Cisco and ITIL Certified
- Nine years or more related technical and managerial experience in a help desk environment supporting Desktop, Infrastructure support, Service Desk and Systems Management.
- IT experience in the BFSI domain and clear understanding/knowledge or experience with Forex, Securities, Fixed Assets etc.
