Job description / Role
IT Technician - Female - Abu Dhabi
Client based in Abu Dhabi is looking for IT technician to support implementation of educational eLearning system. The successful hired person will be responsible on providing hardware, Operating systems, and network support to users and staff.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Assist users with installation, configuration, maintenance, support, optimization, and ongoing usability of system hardware, software and communication links.
• Analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Offer daily operations and systems support to users.
• Verify functionality of hardware and software components.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone.
• Assist employees with computer problems and answer their questions.
• Administer and support network operations.
• Conduct IT backup and recovery procedures
Requirements
• Female
• Fluent English/Arabic speaking
• BSc degree or diploma in computer science.
• 4 years of working experience of the functions of core hardware and software components that comprise a large system or network including LAN/WAN, DNS, and DHCP infrastructure, network and systems hardware and software, and virtual environments, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, and SNMP, terminal services, routers, firewalls and switches.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature.
