Joint Venture Accountant

Our client is a multinational Oil and Gas operator, looking for a joint venture accountant for their operations in Dubai.

Client Details
Our client is a multinational Oil and Gas operator set up in the UAE that deals with the production and development of oil and gas. They are looking for an experienced Joint Venture Accountant to join their operations in Dubai.

Reporting to the Joint Venture Manager/ Finance Manager, the Joint Venture Accountant will be responsible to/for;
* Maintain the books of accounts for the Joint Venture Assets
* Total compliance with JOA provisions and should be able to meet deadlines.
* Ensure internal and external reporting is carried out.
* Creation of Annual Opex cost codes for Maximo invoice routing.
* Assist and respond to partner queries and support Finance Committee and Operating Committee as on when required.
* Prepare and issue of Joint Venture Billings, Cash and bank reconciliation Statements, Cost Carry Statements and periodical Cash Calls after Joint Venture Manager / Finance Manager review as appropriate.
* Review of Gross book transactions recorded for each month running the Cutback process for net reporting.

Job Offer
The successful candidate for this role will be offered 15000 to 25000 AED, all-inclusive of basic, housing and transport allowances. In addition to this, the client also helps with the relocation of the selected candidate. Requirements

The successful candidate for this Joint Venture Accountant role will have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience within JV accounting in the oil and gas field. They should also have experience of accounting principles, SOAPs, SORPs and accounting under JOA provisions. In addition to above, the candidate must be a qualified certified accountant.
