Junior Application Engineer

Job description / Role

1. Performs technical review of client enquiries; recommending conformance with the standards and exceptions for the Job.
2. Prepare estimates in conjunction with costing group, including enquiries on subcontractors and liaison with internal engineering support groups for cost data.
3. Prepare and present system calculations, technical specifications tender documents, and commercial proposals to the client.
4. Site Survey to measure and collect information as required for the technical proposal.
5. Maintain a teamwork philosophy with other departments to facilitate problem solving and provide good customer service.
6. Responsibility for a project technically and commercially from receipt of the clients’ enquiry through to handover to the projects group evaluation and approval of the cost estimate for the project.
7. Prepares required tools for executing jobs efficiently and in a short time.
8. Assists in gathering information related to product applications, technical assistance, pricing strategies and competitive information to REFIT Upgrade team / Client.
9. Assists in preparing and distributing literature, pricing information, technical data and promotional material to customers

Requirements

1. This position requires fresher’s bachelor’s in mechanical engineering degree with minimum of 75% or above aggregates score.
2. Customer Focused - Excellent attitude towards getting a job done quickly and to the highest standards.
3. Solution Focused.
4. Willingness to travel as requested.
5. Enthusiastic about the product and willingness to learn and develop throughout the company
6. Confident Microsoft Office ability – Excel, Word etc. Knowledge in Auto Cad & 3D model Software
