Roles & Responsibilities

Permanent responsibilities

General
• Manages and controls all financial aspects of the projects
• Provides the Project Manager and his/her hierarchy with all necessary financial data and any information of possible consequence, act as a business partner of the Project Manager
• Forecasting, budgeting, Control. Financial Variance Analysis and reporting
• Review cost estimates and ensure a reliable explanation of the EAC and the variance between EAC's exercise
• Manage contingencies and provisions for contractual and financial risks
• Analyze work in progress and reviews program expenditure (expenses correctly accounted for, authorized contingencies, invoices, etc.).
• Optimizes and monitors sales, margins
• Assist in implementing the accounting system for the project, in coordination with the group accounting system
• Ensure the invoicing in due time and cash collection
• Maintains project cost breakdown structure
• Consolidate project figures of all entities (worldwide) involved in the project or provide the necessary information in due time to the entity in charge of the consolidation
• Financial Engineering : Manage Financial Engineering in coordination with DAFI (Credit Export Insurance, for Bank Guarantees) for the projects in scope
• Closing : Manage in SAP by Design & provide the necessary information (order intake, sales, CGM, AGM, variances analysis, Cash-in, OCF) to all stakeholders in due time to the Dubai finance organization
• Reporting: Manage & transmit the necessary information (budget, forecast, R/O, variance analysis, BOR) to all stakeholders
• MYB: Manage the process for the project she/he is responsible for and provide the necessary information to the Dubai based regional reporting and budgetary control organization
• CASH/OCF: Manage the cash of the project (Cash-in and Cash-out), forecast cash flow and improve/optimize OCF with Operations, review working capital requirements
• Budgetary Control: Liaise with the Dubai based regional reporting and budgetary control organization and provides all necessary information (workload, productivity, share the workload plan -mobilization/demobilization) to allow a proper monitoring of the Structure and its efficiency
• Finance Team player: Ensure convergence to "best in class" Finance organization by adequate professional behavior strong accountability and cooperation spir
• Finance Transformation: Participate actively to the Finance Modernization initiatives in the Region: shared services, reporting simplification, roles of controllers, agile tools, SAPbD improvements etc

Requirements

Work experience requirements
• Used to work as Project Financial Controller in similar sector
• Organization capabilities, Ability to synthesize, Rigor and hard worker
• Perform through cooperation, influence key stakeholders, able to interface with different cultures (international profile), team spirit
• Promote the highest standards of conduct
• Exhibit a strong ability and willingness in meeting deadlines
• Effective interpersonal, motivational and influencing skills

Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements
• Master degree or Finance/Accounting Degree with 5 yrs experience
• Management/ Leadership soft skills
• Fluent in English
• Arabic and French appreciated but not mandatory

Preferred Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to make effective presentations to all levels of leadership
