Job description / Role
We are seeking a talented and dynamic Junior Lawyer to join our Projects and Finance team at our prestigious International Law Firm in UAE.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in international law and finance, and will be eager to contribute to high-profile projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior lawyers in providing legal advice on project finance transactions, including drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on international finance laws and regulations, and stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
- Support in negotiations and due diligence processes, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, investment, and project management teams, to provide legal support and guidance.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of legal opinions and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Salary:
AED
30,000 to 45,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university, with a strong academic record.
- Admitted to the bar in UAE or eligible for admission.
- 1-3 years of experience in project finance, banking, or corporate law at a reputable law firm or financial institution.
- Sound understanding of international finance laws and regulations, with a keen interest in keeping abreast of industry trends.
- Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic or French would be advantageous.
