Key Account Manager (f/m) Middle East – Oil & Gas Market

Gore’s Performance Solutions division is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Oil & Gas/Energy sales and marketing team focused on discovering and developing opportunities in the dynamic energy market in the Middle East with our gas turbine air filtration products. In this role you will grow sales by establishing strong relationships with key industry influencers and by uncovering and closing new and profitable sales opportunities within targeted accounts. The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

As Key Account Manager you will coordinate all sales activities with multiple accounts and have awareness of all customer contacts. That includes account planning on a global scale, developing a sales strategy for multiple accounts, multi-channel selling to end users, OEMs, distributors and engineering/operating companies, and applying basic sales disciplines to manage accounts (i.e. funnel management, CRM, account plans, territory plans). By establishing mutual accountability and shared responsibility with the account team and also strong relationship building across accounts and regions you will be serving as a balance between the voice-of-customer and the voice-of-Gore. On the basis of your strong understanding of customers’ operations and production goals we seek your input to anticipate customer needs and new opportunities, contributing to new product ideas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in engineering or science.
• Minimum of 5 years’ prior sales experience selling complex technical products in industrial markets in the Middle East, ideally within oil & gas, such as power generation, oil and gas production and processing.
• Demonstrated ability to uncover, develop and win complex technical projects in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Proven track record of sales growth across sales channels (i.e., end user, OEM, distributor) with global and national accounts.
• Strong history of interfacing directly with customers early and often to build collaborative relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to influence internally and externally, regionally and globally.
• Ability to travel 60% of the time, mainly in the Middle East, with UAE drivers license.
