Kitchen Supervisor Up To 2k Aed+ for a Casual Dining Restaurant in Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Supervises and coordinates activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel and purchases or requisitions foodstuffs and kitchen supplies: Plans or participates in planning menus, preparing and apportioning foods, and utilizing food surpluses and leftovers
• Specifies number of servings to be made from any vegetable, meat, beverage, and dessert to control portion costs
• Supervises non-cooking personnel to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
• Manages cook and tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards
• Hires and discharges employees.
• Trains new workers
Requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to Asian Nationals
• Male or Female, 35 years old and below
• Has good communication in English and leadership skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• At least a high school graduate/diploma holder with relevant training and certifications
• At least 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Supervisor
• Experience in making dim sum is required
