Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading law firm in the Middle East is wishing to recruit a lawyer to work as Knowledge Management Lawyer for the firm.

You would be based in Dubai and the role would entail:
• The creation and maintenance of in-house legal documentation.
• Proactive capture of know-how from precedent transactions across all practice areas.
• Dealing with cross practice legal research requests.
• Drafting monthly in-house update.
• Creating and maintaining intranet wiki ‘one stop shops’ for key practice areas.
• Delivering practice resources training including trainee training.
• Overseeing office practice meetings for several practice areas.
• Head of KM induction programme for trainees and lateral hires.

Requirements

They are essentially looking for a lawyer who has perhaps come from a corporate/commercial background and has a broad range of experience, ideally already transitioned to a Knowledge Management role.

You will be proactive, organised and resourceful with fluent English.

Regional experience is advantageous but not essential.
