Our Middle East practice is seeking a Landscape Architect with 2+ years post-degree experience, to join our team. Based in Abu Dhabi the individual will work on a broad range of projects as part of a multidisciplinary professional group of planners and urban designers.
Responsibilities
• Working closely with landscape architect to deliver design content and drawing packages from Concept Design through Planning Application Stage to Construction Stage.
• Developing background information for projects and speculative work.
• Preparing visual content for project deliverables such as site plans, rendered views, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign content for presentations.
• Understanding and coordinating technical data on drawings.
• Preparing exhibition boards for client and public presentations.
• Attending meetings and providing email/communication with consultants.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture .
• Proficient in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup
• Strong design skills with the ability to develop and present design solutions
• Excellent hand & computer graphic skills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of 3D modelling programs would be beneficial (3D StudioMax / Rhino)
• Broad technical knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team would be beneficial but is not vital.
The candidate should be a self-starter with a professional approach and be willing to take on responsibility as is common in the dynamic nature of varied projects, geographies and work streams.
