Hotel Overview:

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property. Catering for both business and leisure clientele. The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

Laundry Valet

As a Laundry Valet you are responsible to ensure that laundry service, required by our Guest is met on time and with the highest possible standards.

What you will be doing:

- Responsible for the pickup and delivery of Guest laundry
- Collect laundry and dry cleaning bags from Guest rooms
- Ensure the Guest name, room number, laundry pieces are listed and list is attached to the laundry bags
- Count and verify all items as per the laundry and dry cleaning lists
- Record collection and delivery times and special message i.e. DND rooms, etc
- Report immediately any Guest's valuables/items found in the pockets of clothes sent to the Laundry
- Check all items for damage and stains and takes appropriate action to rectify these issues
- Responsible to collect and deliver outside Guest Laundry/Dry Cleaning
- Assist marker when necessary
- Responsible for delivering all Guest items punctually and at times Guest have specified

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferred
- Excellence in strategic leadership and team management
- Creative and passionate about food and customer service
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment

Visa requirements:

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
