Job description / Role
Objectives of this role:
* Handle all corporate legal processes including acquisitions, securities offerings, intellectual property, compliance issues, etc
* Research and anticipate legal risks
* Develop company policies and positions on legal matters
* Drafts, assesses, analyzes, negotiates, and finalizes contracts and agreements.
* Negotiates transactions and agreements governing licensing, leasing, partnerships, and strategic alliances with outside business entities, organizations, and individuals.
* Advises on intellectual property and privacy law.
Key Skills and Competencies
* Knowledge of contract law, intellectual property law, employment law, corporate law, and business formation.
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a diverse range of agreements and legal opinions
* Drafting and reviewing privacy policies, terms of uses, disclaimers, etc.
* Working knowledge of laws, regulations, financial compliance, and best practices in the field.
* Strong computer skills and competency
* Administrative skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize and meet multiple and competing deadlines.
Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements for this role:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Law (L.L.B)
* Familiar with UAE rules and regulation
* Minimum 3 years UAE experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel
