Leasing Manager (Residential)

Job description / Role

We are well-established real estate developer, currently we are looking for a motivated and experienced Leasing Manager to oversee our residential properties in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, maintaining tenant relations, and maximizing the occupancy and rental income for the properties.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to ensure maximum occupancy and rental income for residential properties.
- Manage the leasing process from advertising available units to screening potential tenants and negotiating leases.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of market conditions and trends to set competitive rental rates.
- Build and maintain strong tenant relations by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction.
- Oversee the preparation of lease agreements and ensure compliance with leasing policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with property management team to ensure timely unit turnovers and maintenance of vacant units to attract potential tenants.
- Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate with maintenance team to address any maintenance or repair needs.
- Prepare regular leasing reports and forecasts to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns to attract potential tenants.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and legal requirements related to residential leasing.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Leasing Manager or similar role within the real estate industry.
- In-depth knowledge of residential leasing principles, practices, and legal regulations.
- Strong understanding of market trends and ability to set competitive rental rates.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong tenant relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple properties simultaneously.
- Proficient in property management software and MS Office suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field. A professional certification in property management or real estate will be an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Arabic is a must to this role
