Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a large company operating in the Hospitality, Leisure and Entertainment sector who is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to support the senior legal team based in Abu Dhabi, on all legal matters.
As Legal Counsel, your main responsibility will include general commercial drafting, however there will be a large portion of non-contentious I.P work involved. In addition, you may be required to draft leases and licenses, financial agreements, basic construction agreements as well as prepare corporate documents and provide general advice on due diligence, governance, and insurance matters.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have previous I.P experience, ideally from an international law firm or large in-house organisation. You should have at least 1 year UAE experience and a strong transactional / commercial law background. Arabic is not essential but would be an advantage.
