Employment: Full Time

Engage Selection are currently working with a leading real estate developer in Abu Dhabi that are looking to recruit a Legal Executive.

Job Responsibilities
- Prepares the standard Residential Lease Agreements, Land Lease Agreements and its Addendums, Sale & Purchase Agreements, Addendums to Sale & Purchase Agreements, Memorandum of Understandings, Non Disclosure Agreements.
- Conduct legal due diligence prior to preparing drafts of various agreements such as gathering all legal documents, trade license, commercial license, passport copies and power of attorney for the authorized signatories of other parties entering into any contractual relationship.
- Assists in the preparation of business contracts and administers other related legal matters.
- Prepares legal documents brief histories of investors, reports of investors and reports related to various obligations and facts under the Sale & Purchase Agreements.
- Coordinate with Planning and Design Department for collecting design and floor plans of buildings for preparation of Sale & Purchase Agreements, seeking their feedback and update of various matters related to technical information and various project’s status as may be required and directed by the Legal Affairs Manager.
- Attending Tenders’ openings.
- Prepares internal memorandums and various correspondences as required.
- Preparation of investors’ histories, summaries and sequences of events in case of legal cases filed against the organisation and any of its investors as directed by the Legal Affairs Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications - Degree in Law / Master in Law (preferably with specialisation in commercial law) with strong experience in contracting law and guidelines, environmental law, and government permits law.

Experience - Significant experience at law firm or in-house in required area of expertise – the successful candidate is likely to possess at least 4 to 5 years PQE. Experience of working in Real Estate is essential.
