Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- To assist with legal sales prospecting
- Cold calling
- Assists with the development, execution and measuring of marketing programs, campaigns and incentives designed to increase awareness and drive sales for a collection of software and services .
- Responsible for the execution of Marketing activities supporting the objectives developed in strategic and tactical marketing plans on a global/regional, segment or product basis.
- Interns will be responsible for enhancing perspective of department providing new ideas to problems; Attend and contribute meetings & team activities; work on business case for projects; work with economists to determine market sizes; work with sales and marketing to segment our customer base; Assist with project development; Data Entry; Assist with market research; - Help drive specific business development campaigns; Be a part of short term projects; Identify solutions for simplification of current work flow.

Requirements

- The determinant factor is willing to do hard core sales e.g. cold calling and lead generation to legal prospects.
- An interest in Thomson Reuters and the markets we operate in (e.g. financial, legal, pharmaceuticals, tax & accounting, etc).
- Strong communication skills, professional approach to work, excellent organizational and time management skills, good personal & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to network with variety of people based both at home and abroad;
- Aptitude to research & analyse data;
- Detail orientated individual; must be dynamic & innovative;
- Keen interest in feedback & development;
- Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint) with ability to learn new technology quickly;
- Previous internship or work experience is a strong advantage.
