Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking to recruit a Paralegal role in our Litigation department. Salary range between AED 15K to 17K. The role will include:

General Duties:
- Summarizing legal documents and working on standard litigation files with supervising attorney
- Assisting legal consultants in the preparation of their advices and correspondences.
- Drafting standard legal documents
- Researching legislation and case precedents/media/journals/publications for relevant developments
- Performing records searches with courts and government authorities
- Checking legal forms and submissions for accuracy and completion
- Preparing correspondences to and directly liaising with clients, government departments, courts etc.
- Conducting fact and information gathering meetings with clients
- Preparing reports
- Translation of documents
- Preparation of proposals and retainers

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree or certificate in relevant area of practice with a minimum 2 years experience in legal environment, preferably regional experience but not essential and admitted to the Bar.

They must be fluently bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write (including legal drafting) in both English and Arabic. They should be hardworking, driven and display good personal impact. We prefer hiring an associate who is willing to shift to a Paralegal role with a multinational firm.
