Employment: Full Time

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing the import processes for a company based in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication (especially written correspondence) and problem-solving skills. The Logistics Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the import processes, including placing approved orders with suppliers, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. They will work closely with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient ordering and delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:
- Communicating with suppliers, internal and external stake holders through written correspondence.
- Manage the import processes, including placing orders with suppliers, obtaining necessary permits and documentation, coordinating shipments, and tracking inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs and trade regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate records of all import activities, including invoices, shipping documents, and customs paperwork.
- Resolve any issues or delays with shipments and work to find solutions to keep shipments on track.
- Continuously monitor and improve processes to increase efficiency.

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Yearly Bonus (equal to your 1 month salary)

Requirements

- Must have exceptional communication skills, especially in written correspondence.
- Proven experience in import operations.
- Strong knowledge of customs and trade regulations in UAE.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English (reading and writing), additional languages are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

The successful candidate will be an individual with a strong understanding of import processes and regulations. They will have excellent communication skills (especially written correspondence) and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. They will also be a team player and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
