Job description / Role
Objectives:
• Experienced individual seeking a position as a Logistics Specialist who will utilize exceptional knowledge concerning logistics strategies and government regulations.
Main responsibilities:
• Monitors incoming and outgoing shipment
• Processing customer orders
• Receiving incoming shipment
• Inventory control
• Coordinating with head office logistics related activity.
• Prepare shipping documents BOL packing slip Pallet labels
• Serving customers with congeniality addressing issues and solving problems forwarding messages confirming customer orders keeping customers informed of order status
• Request shipping quotes with shipping and trucking companies
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures
• Reporting to: Finance and Admin Manager
• Subordinates: not applicable
• Other interactions: Finance, Admin, warehouse, sales, HQ , external suppliers,
• Number required: 1
• Duration: permanent
• Desired start date: 01.08.2018
• Probation: 6 months
• Working Hours: 9am- 6pm
• Travel requirements: when necessary
• Gross monthly base salary: 7,500AED

Requirements
• Three years experience in the same field
• With UAE Driving license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English, excellent reading comprehension
• University Qualifications: College Graduate
• Other certifications obtained: Logistics related degree is an advantage
• Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum 2 years experience in the field
• Specialist knowledge: data management
• Soft Skills and Personality traits: leadership ability, positive attitude, team player
• Age Range: max 45 years old
• Gender Preference: Male
• Nationality Preference: Arabic or Philippines
• Language Fluency: English
• Current Location: UAE
