On behalf of our client, a multi national manufacturer in the Automotive industry, is looking to recruit an experienced Logistics Manager, also from the Automotive manufacturing sector.
You will ensure compliance with customer orders and delivery schedule, supervise the functions of the logistics department, implement strategies to ensure timely delivery of the product and comply with the guidelines of the quality system TS16949 and ISO 14001 and optimal supply to production line, inventory counts, stock review.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be degree educated with 15+ years experience handling similar function and a minimum of 3+ years experience as Department head handling a team size of 25+ direct reports. Exposure to Automotive industry and working knowledge of ISO 14001 & TS 16949 are key requirements for the position.
You must possess excellent analytical, problem solving and customer service skills and an ability to lead and motivate a team is vital for this role.
