Employment: Full Time

Client is a Global FMCG firm is looking to recruit Logistics Manager to handle 3PL and direct distribution across the GCC.

The company manufactures food products and digestive beverages exporting to the entire GCC region and have been in the industry for over 30 years. They have a broad FMCG portfolio and is growing rapidly in the region.

The role of Logistics Manager will include, but not limited to the following:
- Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
- Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
- Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
- Train shipping department personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
- Negotiate transportation rates or services.
- Supervise the work of logistics specialists, planners, or schedulers.

Requirements

- Must only come from FMCG background
- Should have extensive experience in Export/Import documentation requirements for GCC – Sea and Land
- Must have experience working with UAE customs
- Arabic candidates are ideally preferred
