Job description / Role
Handling shipping documentation (import & export of vehicles and auto spare parts) from the pick-up point to the final destination: dealing with shipping lines and agents, customs clearance, freight licensing and insuring, producing shipping reports, sales team supports in regards to freight forwarding issues.
• Prepare customs documents required for expediting the clearance of imports and exports
• Liaise with governmental agencies for the approval of relevant forms and documents required for customs clearance
• Complete log records for Customs Entries
• Freight licensing and insuring.
• Producing shipping reports
• Sales team supports in regards to freight forwarding issues
• Perform other related duties as required by the job function
Requirements
• Age: 25 - 35 years old
• Nationality: Any
• Education: University degree in business administration, engineering, computer science, statistics or economics (preferably transport economics) or equivalent professional/logistics experience.
• Experience: Min 5 years of related work experience in UAE
• Communication skills: Fluent English.
• Computer skills: Must be competent in computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, data base).
• Other: UAE driving license and own car is a must
