Logistics Operations Executive

Job description / Role

For a Diversified Multi-National Group which deals oil commodities, Trade finance, Operations, Risk Management, Shipping and storage across Africa, Europe and Middle East.

Designation: Logistics/ Shipping Operations
Industry: Oil and Gas
Job Location: Dubai- UAE
Must be in UAE for Face-to-Face interview.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of shipping and logistics operations for oil commodities across Globe.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and trade requirements.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with shipping and logistics service providers to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain relationships with customs officials, freight forwarders, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any Science related field.
- Experience:0- 5 Years

- Managing shipping and logistics operations within the oil and gas industry or related commodities sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain processes and minimize lead times.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
