Maintenance Engineer

Job description / Role

These responsibilities encompass overseeing maintenance procedures, conducting inspections, managing repairs, and ensuring efficient budget control:

• Develop Maintenance Procedures: Create and implement maintenance procedures for buildings, warehouses, and facilities.
• Regular Site Inspections: Conduct routine site inspections to monitor various locations, including GBF.
• Issue Identification: Identify and resolve issues found during facility inspections.
• Systems Check: Ensure functionality of electrical, A/C, machinery, and hydraulic systems in buildings and manufacturing areas.
• Repair and Installation: Plan and oversee repair and installation activities as needed.
• Supervision: Manage upkeep staff, including Watchmen and maintenance technicians, and allocate workloads effectively.

Requirements

• Coordination: Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities with AMC maintenance companies.
• Fixture Repairs: Perform maintenance repairs on old or faulty fixtures.
• Inventory Management: Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Budget Control: Keep track of maintenance expenses and manage the budget.
• Vendor Relationships: Maintain relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed maintenance logs and prepare daily activity reports.
