Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a multinational manufacturing corporation to hire a Maintenance Manager to join their team at their established manufacturing plant based in Abu Dhabi.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will effectively manage the maintenance and engineering functions within the plant including all employees within these areas as well as ensuring that the building, site, machinery & equipment are compliant with HSE standards. You will drive improvements within the business in regards to efficiency and cost effectiveness as well as effectively managing preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment, using your problem-solving skills to ensure this causes as little disruption to the production processes as possible.
Requirements
The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s Degree in engineering or extensive knowledge and experience of plant engineering disciplines. This role requires someone with knowledge of vertical mills, material handling equipment, drying automated control systems, burner & industrial regulations and practices and a good background in industrial maintenance.
You should have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience within an industrial environment, be skilled in people development and collaborative decision making. This is a rare opportunity to join a successful multinational business.
