Manager, Brand Openings, Middle East Africa

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Brand Openings Manager, MEA to join our team.?This role will be based in Dubai/Saudi Arabia/Turkey and will be reporting directly to the Senior Director of Brand Management and Marketing, MEA APAC and is responsible for providing expert Brand Marketing and Brand Management support to all Premium, Midscale and Economy brands across the MEA APAC Hub from the signing to the opening of all properties. Other responsibilities that this role possess will be to ensure clarity and consistency of brand positioning, brand identity and branded experiences across the Hub for all Premium, Midscale, and Economy brands. Giving guidance and support to the hotel General Managers, Marketing, Design and Technical Services as well as the Operational teams to ensure the brand markers and experiences are delivered for the opening.

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities:

Brand Guardianship

- Together with brand hub team, be the voice of the hub in all pre-opening calls with internal teams and suppliers.

- Ensure consistent implementation of brand identities, markers, and experiences across the HUB for opening hotels.

- Support positioning workshops and share best practice to guide hotel team.

- Manage Taskworld for all Marketing and Brand functions to ensure delivered on time.


Brand Strategy and Execution

- Support the conceptualization of facilities such as Food and Beverage and Wellness outlets.

- Work closely with regional marketing teams for the creation and implementation of Brand and localized initiatives.

- Support, represent and participate in various brand validation processes.

- Guide the team on the brand and marketing elements of the commercial opening plan.

- Onboard the hotel teams with the Brand presentations, brand vision, portals as well as the requirements of the brand audits.

- Coordination of the monthly Guest Experience data for MEA working closely with the brand leadership and commercial country leads.

Development and Design & Technical Services (DTS)

- Support new opening hotels to ensure successful on brand openings.

- Be aware of all DTS standards per brand as well as product and experience standards.

Budgetary Work

- Support the hotel on their POB and consequent planning for all Brand touchpoints to include signage, uniforms, imagery, and brand marker delivery.

- Guide and support the hotel team for the budget and marketing plans for their brand and suitable for their market utilizing annual budget packs.

Requirements

What we need from you

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

- On Property experience in Marketing with Commercial and Guest Experience specialization as a benefit with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.

- Advanced Project Management Skills.

- Ability to present and engage stakeholders.

- Ability to work in a team across cultures.

- Background of working on property and ideally experience in opening and or rebranding hotels.

- Passionate and diligent with an understanding of the guest needs in the region and how our brands can drive their performance.

Additional Information

Work and collaborate with all stakeholders (MEA APAC Brand team, Regional Marketing Leaders, Commercial Specialists, Procurement, Design & Technical Services (DTS), Development & Operations) on brand marketing management to help drive brand awareness and performance.
