Manager- Digital Solution Architect

Job description / Role

This purpose of this position is to be responsible for the digital solution architecture of the various technology solutions and mapping the requirements to solution scope whilst ensuring alignment with the IT Architecture blueprint and strategy. Additionally, this position will be responsible for supporting large-scale technology implementation/ capability development projects by providing advice on appropriate applications, technologies and project scoping.

Requirements

A suitable candidate would have the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computing/engineering/science/ IT related.
• 10 Years of Telecommunication experience
• Good understanding of Telecommunications technology life cycle, large scale technology implementation and transformation projects/areas
• Experience in BSS applications (CRM, Product Configuration Process, CPC, CPQ, COM)
• Experience in Data Analytics
• Experience in Cloud Computing
• Mandatory to have solution design or architecture experience
• Background proficiency in either of following Java, Scala, Python, Spring, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, NoSql databases such as Dynamo.
• Knowledge of experience management (Drupal or similar) and on-site search.
• Knowledgeable in cloud native architectures, web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints.
• Experience in consumer mobility including mobile web (adaptive, responsive), Progressive Web App , mobile app (native, hybrid), APIs (RESTful/OData/JSON) and API design.
• Experience with agile delivery, DevOps and micro-services (e.g NodeJS, Spring Boot etc), exposure to frameworks and libraries such as Spring Cloud etc.
• Experience in executing program using Agile methodology. Knowledge of CI/CD
• Desirable to have cloud technologies experience in either AWS, GCP, Azure or AliBaba
• Good understanding of Telecommunications technology life cycle, large scale technology implementation and transformation projects/areas
• Support conversion of Business Use Cases for New Applications or New Capabilities on existing Applications.
• Review and ensure timely and regular documentation of application capabilities and interfaces in a central architecture repository.
• Experienced in creating architecture technology standards, end to end solution designs, blueprints, roadmaps
• Digital experience in domains/products such as or similar:
• Ecommerce (hybris, etc)
• Self-service (oracle WCS)
• Omni-channel (SAP/Netcracker/Oracle/Dynacommerce)
• Mobile App development (iOS, Android)
• API gateway experience desirable (Google Apigee)
• BSS/OSS applications & integration experience
• CRM, CPC, COM, CPQ, EAI
• Experienced in Enterprise architecture tools and EA modeling: Mega, Aris
• Experience in IT capacity management/forecasting
