Manager – HR Policies

Job description / Role

• Reviews and recommends changes to corporations HR Policies and practices and continuously evaluates and updates such policies based on business requirements and market changes.
• Reviews the compliance of local legislation concerning new or existing laws by close follow up of any changes in labor rules and regulations.
• Responds to queries on the definitions of policy phrases to ensure proper and accurate implementation.
• Prepares Executive Committee papers for Management approval on matters related to HR Policies and conditions of service.
• Coordinates the activities of implementing issues approved/passed by the EC/Board/Compensation Committee.
• Manages and coordinates all activities and documentation related to house building loans & ensures all requirements are met before forwarding for approval.
• Coordinates and follows-up Disciplinary Committees meetings and decisions, while ensuring that all necessary documents are available and that the recommended disciplinary actions confirm with the policies and procedures before submission to management.
• Oversees the maintenance of the section records and ensures that all management information reports are prepared in a timely manner.
• Prepares consolidated reports for State Auditors on behalf of HR Department.
• Raises and reviews genuine cases of financial assistance requests received from staff corporate wide and coordinates with the special committee for approval.
• Provides professional direction and guidance to subordinates, evaluates their performance and delivers counseling if required.
• Undertakes full responsibility of all equipment in his section
• Performs any other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Strong Analytical & Research Skills
• Strong PC Skills
• Bachelor's Degree graduates, Master's degree holder will be given added advantage preferably in Human Resources field.
• Professional certifications holders will be given added advantage.
