Charterhouse are currently managing a search to identity a Manager of IT Internal Audit within their functional head office operation.

This role shall oversee the management and deliverable of all IT audit functions, whilst ensuring compliance with the group audit standards and policy, along with the development, coordination and implementation of all audit plans across the group IT infrastructure, frameworks, applications and services.

In conjunction, this position shall also involve an advisory capacity linking to IT security, data privacy, regulatory compliance along with a gearing towards managing any external audit partners and/or governmental/regulator bodies. The role also focuses towards areas of risk management, to ensure mitigation both financially and operationally, with a combined responsibility for the introduction of quality assurance and programs aligned to audit best practice and those stipulated under the Group Governance Committee.

In turn, this position requires the development of reporting tools, for both compliance and business continuity purposes, for senior management groups within the business units.


Our client shall look to identity a qualified audit professional whom is able to demonstrate, up to 10 years of experience, within an IT centric Internal Audit function. The successful candidate shall be required to possess both CIA and CISA qualifications; to demonstrate the core credentials combined with an operational background of working across a complex and international organisation.

On top of this, the client will look to identify a candidate whom can deliver a knowledge of Cloud-based applications and/or platforms and all subsequent risk-based analysis of understanding. On top of these technical skills, the client shall look to recruit a candidate whom can demonstrate a strong mix of soft skills. This links to the delivery of a customer service level and focus along with relationship management skills across all layers within the organisation.

The role also requires an independent and strategic mindset; to ensure that all audit processes are impartial whilst adding value to the commercial aspect of both operational processes and any customer interfaces.
